Fire on Ocean Countess!

Video not by me 30.11.13 - Majestic International's MV OCEAN COUNTESS, completed in 1976 as CUNARD COUNTESS, is currently ablaze at Chalkis, where she has been laid up since her most recent charter to U.K.-based Cruise and Maritime Voyages. The ship was scheduled to return to cruise service in 2014 but this now looks unlikely as aerial video footage shows her superstructure fully engulfed in fl...

A Routine Sail from NYC with SS Romenia - Red Anchor Line
I find it funny that this film came out just 5 years before the Titanic was found
Even if it were in one piece, how would they keep it from sinking again.
"Wow it's impressive they put the ship back together before bringing her up! Must have been a lot of hard and dangerous work!"
4:46 how it feels to return to an abandoned place where it was once full of life and activity, where you used to go to frequently as a young child.
Bro the white star line flag gave me flashbacks of joy😭
HOW ABSURD & RIDICULOUS!!!
It is very important for people to know after 123 years later we don't forget
I fought was the m/v le joola
Titanic: Oh dear… I do hope I’m not too late. New York: You’re as beautiful as the day we lost you
Anyone know Morse code, dot dot dash as the horn blasts under the Brooklyn bridge with the Twin Towers in the back ground.
While it would be an amazing feet if it could be raised, that being the more intact bow section or more damaged stern section, it’s probably best that it never will be largely because it is split into 2 main pieces which are so weak and frail that they would fall almost if not totally apart before reaching the surface. Also it probably best that she never be raise as she is both a monument to a by gone era and grave site. As a grave site it understandable why survivors and or their families are against or have disagreed with artifact recover from the site, I also understand those who have recovered artifacts from the wreck site in an effort to share a part of the legendary ship Titanic up close and personal. Perhaps Titanic, to some degree, is the ultimate double edged sword as both a monument and grave site to a bygone area and those went down with her as well as tourists site people can’t help in many ways be fascinated with. In the end Titanic should be and always will be a monument and grave site to the people of a bygone era and those who were lost with her when sank into the twilight zone of legend. The movie itself a is very enjoyable and entertaining regardless of whether it’s premiss is agreed with or not. Just my personal perspective about the ship and her history. Feel free to agree or disagree.
🙆 l love Titanic 🙆
Even though everyone has safely abandoned ship(and I don't blame them) by this stage actually watching a beautiful ship like this in her death throes is heartbreaking to me.
One of the most incredible things I've ever seen. I came across this purely by chance and it's heartbreaking to watch, its as though the ship herself is trying to hang on to life.
Boy were they wrong about how it would look.
1,980 movie.
Are we all forgetting that the Titanic broke in two pieces before it sank into the bottom of the ocean 🤔🤔. Just saying..
Film made 1980. Wreck found 1985.
Funny, he is just walking along like the ship would not be slick from all those years at the bottom of the ocean.
That is what people wanted to believe it would be like.
Funny that they imagined the ship would look that good after all those years.
after 80 yrs at the bottom of the ocean and the wooden decks still solid enough to walk on, windows and wooden chairs still intact.....yeah, its just a movie.
0:58 Look at all that dust leaving all at once
welcome to New York City RMS Titanic 🏙️
I wish titanic didin’t split in half🥺
Rename this ship the USS Biden/Harris.....
As impossible as the premise of this movie is. I think it’s so fun to atleast visualize the fantasy of raising the ship. If only it was possible my life would be complete
I remember someone made what if featuring if the titanic missed the iceberg it was similar to this as she would’ve been converted to a hospital ship in World War I and in it he had the reverse rescue and had the titanic rescuing the passengers and crew of the Carpathia when she was hit by a u boat while also ramming into the U-Boat. Having it be that Titanic along with her sisters would be sold to the breakers for scrap in 1938.
what a bullshit
Although this is inaccurate, it’s entertaining as hell to watch.
funny that the smokestacks have no ropes yet miracously are standing, superglued to the ship
At 3:12 there's a tiny model figure operating a pump. It was a joke put in by the model makers. It's more obvious in higher definition versions.
They can try to use Big cranes can pick up big ships
James' Cameron version is much much better. However this is a nice movie.
A minha Bisavó nasceu no mesmo ano que o Titanic naufragou. Ela faleceu com 88 anos. Titanic naufragou em abril de 1912 e a minha bisavó nasceu em fevereiro de 1912.
1980, not 85!!
boy were they wrong and had no idea
I think that I’ll bring with the can up and forget about crumbling it to pieces
I wish they could raise it
ONLY IN THE MOVIES AND THEIR DREAMS THE TITANIC WILL NEVER RAISE PERIOD
Видно что макет намного меньше!это несерьезно
В чем смысл этого фильма?
This model of titanic has double Derrick cranes on the bow titanic never had them only a single one as part of the mainmast.
Muy bueno los efectos para esos años, parece muy real
Titanic probably could have been raised in the 1990s….it may be crumbling now but more inside will be revealed….what about the Olympia and Lusitania ?????
Olympic was scrapped and lusitania is a crumpled pile of scrap on the ocean floor, she doesn't even resemble a ship anymore
2:17 that explosion...
It snapped in half when it sank what they put it back together then brought it up? Not
This movie was made in nineteen eighty one before they found the ship and realized it had split
What a happy hopeful movie
At this time when this came out they had no idea it had split in 2..
This was when they thought they could raise it, before they found that it had split in two.
Good job the flagpole was still functional. Ludicrous film, but I loved it as a kid.
